Think it over....

Hiii folks,

Here’s something to say about our thoughts and actions. No…this isn’t an essay but a few encouraging words to put those wonderful thoughts of us in right actions.

“I think therefore I am” said Descartes, the famous French Philosopher. For him, our thoughts determined us as entities. This is true to a very large extent, as our actions are preceded by thoughts, either at the conscious or sub conscious level. In a somewhat different context, the German playwright had said." There are two kinds of men in this world, men of thought and men of action. Think like men of thought, act like the men of action." However, thoughts being at an abstract level are not tangible enough to take notice of. Hence, we are judged only by our actions.

There are people who before starting any project, often say “If I had money, if I had more support, if I had…”and so on. Such persons are involved in so many If’s that their projects are never given a start. Despite providing all basic needs, you hear them saying, “Yes, it’s there, but still I think if…” These people termed as negative thinkers never achieve their goal in life. Even God never supports persons who do not help themselves. We need to think positive, know our power of thinking, Know who are we and what can we do.

Every morning when we wake up, we have a new day ahead of us in which we can be whatever we choose. We can recreate ourselves daily, especially when we consciously choose to let go old resentments, grudges, patterns and fears. Affirm yourself, “I choose to be loving, peaceful, joyous, prosperous and patient with myself and others.” Once we make our intent known to our subconscious by that affirmation, it will co-operate in helping us create the reality. Make sure, you are affirming what you want to create, not what you don’t want.

Right thinking always helps in achieving our goals. When we begin to think right, objectively rather than emotionally, positively rather than negatively, we can resolutely take corrective action. Since a thought is something that goes on in our mind and something that we can control if we have the will to do so whereas discouragement is an accumulation of gloomy thoughts, we can chose to either entertain these thoughts or throw these out. The best way would be to bring out our right thoughts and put it in the right way of action as it is mentioned before, we are judged by our actions, not thoughts.

Positive thinking is vital to the processes that one guaranteed, to keep our spirit high, so high indeed that discouragement cannot break it. The positive thinker is a creative thinker, a cool, objective thinker in whatever situation he finds himself. Every obstacle is a stepping stone to a miracle. A problem for him contains the seeds of its own solution. As it is said, that in difficulty there is buried some great possibility. Problems are not inherently something to flee or avoid. Stand up to it; believe it may contain amazingly great values in it. Keep a watch on yourself, your thoughts and actions.

Marie. T. Russell has rightly said, “We are all great actors and we are free to play any role we choose. So, if the role you have been playing is not bringing you joy and happiness, look inside, see what role would make your inner child happy and make your heart sing. You are free to be …..Let your heart guide you to be who you want to be at this moment, and then the next…”

Friends Forever...............

Spent the coffee break today by regaling myself with some of my ol' private moments with dear freinds...through my growing up years . The years that I spent there in Bangalore with these people was hands down the best time of my life!!!! Sadly life has taken me & my friends far away & busy in each one's lives that we hardly meet, though at time we were the best of friends there and don’t think there is a day when their names don’t come up in my conversation.Got all nostalgic thinking about the crazy wonderful things we have done.....& d feel good factor seeps even ,even today !! Then it makes it seem just like yesterday!Sigh!Wish if we could rewind time!!

Our hangout: Malleswaram 18th cross bridge & surrounding grounds
Time frame :Glory decade.1980-1990
The Gang:

Mahesh-"MACHI" : Bold and full of energy, was called DON by everyone in our school/college circles. A typical B'lore Gowda guy, always ready to try anything.I must thank him for my explicit knowledge in bad words:):). He always had the best selection of words for any given situation, he made the worst of jokes ever and managed to irk most of our seniors(many of the times without meaning to..wink). He was an expert in ragging and was always the centre of attraction everywhere. He could be pretty kool and we discussed at lengths the silliest and stupidest topics & yet was a big hearted koool mate who would make up with some funny acts/words & the whole group would be all smiles soon again. (ya there were silly issues when we fought over MORAL acts like lil BIY GUYS & followed by sudden quietness around.... where we dint speak- for maybe a few minutes hahahaha...I cant even remember why we fought:):)), but must say he is one gr8 friend. A true blue ,happy-go-lucky fella who could make jokes on himself & his family to have us in splits! He was the BBC of the group. Usually got the news about what was cooking in out other classmates gangs :):). Today, Mahesh is running a Corporate bank, a few nusing institutes around the country, running a school & also takes his social role as a Youth Janata Dal president very seriously! I wont be surprised if one day I hear him winning some ministerial post in the Karnataka Cabinet!Ya ya ,was always a dimplomat n with a way with words to soothe people even then.............But ofcourse, how could I not mention about his various loves, affaris, infactuations for which I was always the ears & now should disclsoe here that all the love letters he wrote to his girl friends were all penned by me..wink heheheh. He woull byheart the content !yes!byheart all that I penned , then go out with his girls to deliver a knockout perfomrance thrown in with lot of dramatics, as if it was his heart which had written all that he mouthed!!! Guess he would have been a great actor!! He is one guy whom I adore & never miss to call/meet whenever I get back to B'lore.Within minutes we rewind to good old days & I never miss a single event over the last one year since my previous visit. Machi dear, please be the same!Never ever change please! You are the one whose comments/expressions & talks keep me bemussed even 1000s of kilometers away!Wish God makes more of your tribe! U are absolute fun!

Vikram-"VICKY" : wacky and crazy, forever the butt of most of our jokes. Poor guy also got beaten up a lot by others, especially Mahesh n me.( sorry Vikram but u did deserve it at times...like when we played criket & Vikram would just walk away with his bat if he got out!!! ya ya those were the days when anyone who owned a bat was a big stud...:):), remember) He was also the one with the stupidest sense of humor and the worst handwriting of all time. He slept in class with his eyes open and wrote notes in Tulu:):) to me...& I just could not understand as he wrote in Kannada script & I was pathetic in reading Kananda. He was the most handsome n fairest in our gang with typical English young boy looks. We called him DAVID GOWER -he had the same Golden English looks. So was obviously the main attraction of all the school girls n neighbourhood females. He also got pinched the most during our journeys from School to our adventure zones and back:):) (still don’t know why this happened to him!!!) He always made us laugh :):)All his studying was last minute and he had like a million likes and dislikes. WE hated it when he fell ill, cause he would get all cranky. Need a smile, just spend some time with him!! But alas,,when were were in our 7th std...His dad who was with Indain Airliens got a transfer to Chennai & my best ever friend had to leave town!! My God!!I never wept as much in my childhood & still get goose pimples recollecting the day he left..ya ya as a parting gift..we had a wrestling bout on our bed & lo..he fell down n went away with a big lump on his head......Vicky, did come down once a year till we were in 10th & that was the last I saw of him!! Did try to reach or get to know his & family whereabouts but never succeeded. Somewhere deep within I still miss u dear! U were my true blue buddy!!!!!:):) Wish we had the Orkuts/Facebooks etc in our times & we could have still been in touch! Know not where he is today but know for a fact that he is one good wisher for me!

Prashanth -"PANI": Cool and calm. He was the voice of reason in our gang…but then there were days when he went just plain crazy!!! He spoke the least most times and usually gave us one of his sweet innocent smiles(even when he was up to no good:):) n no one believed us when we told that he was the instigator of any prank (remember the school antics we indulged in & someone else got caught :)). We usually went to him to air our grievances and eventhough he dint give much advice just speaking to him helped:) He is an amazing charmer n I will always be in awe of his way with words & acts :), He is the ideal eg for good things come in tall fair hadnsome ,heroish gud luks.:).His dad was away in Japan n Bahrain & so he was most fo times at home alone with his grandma. So obviosuly his house was our adda to watch all sorta movies n fun games during our growing up times. Somehow he woudl awlays be the captain of our cricket team though he never was a good player himself. He demonstrated awesome diplomatic n poltical sense even then!He would hate gals n always bad mouth one particular classmate of ours! But lo...today she is his wife! Now sitting bakc I can understand why he used ot pester me to go to her house during summer vacations & act/talk for some picnic or old students association meetinsg etc...winkkHe is one classic example of what luv can do to a man!He was doing his Engineering..feel in love with this classmate of ours who was a brillaint student! She soo went away to USA & lo,our majnu was left with incomlpete BE! Now...to be with her..he did his nursing n part fo a happy family in USA!! HMMMM interesting it will be to meet aftre nealry 20years & exchange words!! I'm luking forward ot it.........but wunder if he remembers me at all.......

Subash-"SUBHI" : An absolute sweet ,soft, silent guy. Extremely laid back except during the exams, when he would just absolutely loose it and would get all tense. My bench partner from school, he was always next to me in exams/tests as his name was just ahead of mine in the register. From what I recollect he loved to eat, espeically the chats and is one person who absolutely refused to dance during our parties. He will always be in your corner no matter what.He grw to be my closest buddy through time!We shared a lotta common interests.Cricket, cycling, chaats, gossips & just enjoyed eachother's company! We grew up together. He was the cricket team's wickekeeper & a good TT player. I learnt my favourite game-TT,thanks to Subash. We used to play on his dining table during most of our summer vacations. It was that friendly induction to TT that I owe him till date as I just love that sport & play it whenever I get a chance. He was into playing the mridungam & so was part of many cultural acts ,which helped me as I had a massive crush on a girl who was a good dancer & dance to his mridungam. He took up Commerce in XI & I moved to Science! There on..it has been a distance that we both have tried to overcome & managed it pretty well till about a few years back when I moved out of Bangalore in 1997 !He does not seem to be a very hands on person with emails/social networking sites & so the distance has only broadened now a vee bit.But then, I just wait to meet him & the last time I saw him was a shocker! It was our old school reunion in Dec'08 & what I saw was a fair balding man with two little daughters tagging him!I was left wondering where is the Subash I knew? Phew!Time flies & how? But then..he wass the same...soft..quiet..seemingly skpetical & himself! Subash love you dear, wherever u r!U & your frinedship meant a lot to me mate!!You are one person whose Birthday I never forget & it is on that day ,every year that I thank God for having blessed me with a very special friend-you!I might have not said it to you Subhi , you were that special friend I really cared for & would continue to pray for you well being!!

Harish-"Kutti": Don’t think I should write much about him cause I will surely get several mails saying that I was lying about everything. i.e if he reads this!! He was the quietest of our gang! The most mature & yet the most timid! He was always seen brooding & in self pity! He was a nice punching bag for all of us! He always poske as if the whole world was against him.I found it funny & agreed with him as every single day -on on way to school , he was ridiculed, laughed at & made fun off ,leaving him crying & running away from the GANG! He would avoid us in the school & not talk a word to us. Hence we the gang would always play tricks as if ignoring him ,knowing fully well that he was all the time only eyeing us & within hearing range wherever we were. I can vividly recollect his expressions on hearing what all we used to talk about him!Yet in the evenings, we all had to be at his house & he would be the perfect host .All would be soon forgotten n fun times had.Yet the next morning it wold be the same story of we teasing him & he crying away without a word spoken!!! Yet,I had the soft corner for this gentle giant! He was my anchor so to say .He knows every single thing in my life! Atleast till my wife came in2 my life!Somehow I always felt releived if I confessed to him! Hope he is not writtinga blog somewhere detailing all that I had confessed to him...errrrrr . He was the most silent, sober n kinda father figure to the entire team.He seemed to from a different galaxy most of the times to us as we were having fun & there was Harish in a silent corner asking us not to overdo this etc etc...with his never ending series of gyaan sharing !!:). Harish,is still the same old silent ,soft, perfect guy!I wish he gets married soon & settles down.Hope I can reach out to him as much as he did to me whilst we were younger!I feel he has a lot to say n yet hasnt said anything!Dear o dear...I have not been abale to meet him for last 6 years.Last I remember was he came home soon after Igot married & leaked out a v.v.vsafely guarded secret of mine..that the luv letter thta I gave my wife was actually my feellings, but in Harish's handwritting !eeeksssss dat was it! I hv not met him many times after that..especially with my wife around me...hehehhee , Harish-U were my Brother mate!!u wld always b!I miss you dear!Wish you were more active on emails/calls!

Me:Well anyways think i was just as bad n as good as the rest of the gang.(this is my blog n I just cant bad mouth myself now can I???:):)

We had the craziest nickname…for eg: we were the original crazy guys..ie Mahesh was Machi, Subash was Subhi, Vikram was Vicky, Prashanth was Pani, Harish was Kutty and me=Pandu/Bond :):)…& yes, we had decided to name ourselves based on the first letters of the name of the gals whome we had a crush on (I know, I know sounds complicated and dumb doesn’t it,especially since machi , pani n me had a crush on every other gal in school and Harish just dint like any of the gals…poor guy we forced a name on him too!!!! Cant believe we were so stupid:):)We also had some weird traditions on our bdays for eg: where the bday guy would bring a Black Forest cake n then we would lock our room door and eat the cake before anyone caught us eating it (we dint want to share u see:):))….well we usually enjoyed the whole sneakiness of the event more than the cake.Have had the most fun talking and doing absolutely nothing with these guys. Had some of the most unforgettable incidents with them ...the list just goes on n' on n' on........:):) We had our bad days, when we absolutely hated each other but think the good days totally out numbered the bad ones:):)But the fact remains that every time v talk or meet, we just get back to where we had let off the last time:):)...its like we were always meant to be friends, and hopefully will always remain friends no matter how far away we are.Well anyways, back to the present....Sighhhhh

U guys r the best...hugs :):)

"Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends"

My Daddy Strongest.........!!

Well thats exactly what I thought about my Daddy untill he decided to give us all a fright by falling ill a few years ago & thankfully recovered well by now.

Eventhough I am grown up and am a a avid healthcare subsriber with my BIG sis-Suji being the fall back healthcare expert in our family, I always kinda belived that my papa was invincible... so when he fell ill... it shocked me.Guess all this got me thinking about Poppa (as I call him), is the sternest luking man with big, strong words for the world! Yet I saw him as the funniest man you could ever meet...he will crack you up with his silly pj's and usually manages to make us all laugh. He is a man who at the age of 67 still tries wrestling with his grown son-ya ya verbal volleying (tries being the key word here)...he still like it when we make a major fuss on his Bday and he still irritates mom by trying to comment on all dat she does & says in the kitchen :): or elsewhere)(guess this actually makes her addicted to him n his non-stop comments). But among all the laughter he is strict when necessary..he made it sure that both his kids learnt how important it was to give respect and to command respect from others.I have always been his darling...his most favorite person(or I atleast like to think so:):))...anyways he has always been there for me and and no request (read demand) of mine was ever forgotten or not dealt with. Among all the fun and frolic I do belive I am what I am today because of him n ofcourse because of mom (but thats a whole different story...or blog rather). We have had our shares of arguments and fights but that doesnt change the fact that Poppa has always been there for me whenever..wherever.I have always tried to live my life on the standards and principles that he had set for himself and I think my biggest achievment till date would be the fact that my parents are somehwere deep within themselves proud of me.(thogh he never shows dat...or tells dat)

When Popppa fell ill..I actually ended up thinking that life as i knew it was over...untill the results showed us that he was indeed a strong man who came back to life( after a massive cardiac arrest outta blue one early morning 4.30am on 14Nov'97)!!! But dont think I will ever take anything for granted ever again. My Poppa is still the greatest n bestest n funniest n coolest n.....but have realized that he might not be the strongest and that its time I became strong for his sake...time for me to grow up n time for him to relax...Poppa ,all dat I do every single day as soon as I get up is....Pray the lord for yours n mom's health & happiness ...& every single nite, just before I hit bed..pray 2 d lord thanking HIM for blessings me to be your son...I love ya soooooooooooooo much dad,,though I have never ever told you sooo!!!!

I know,my Poppa somewhere deep within feels that I'm quiet opppsoite fo what he is!He is very much a PERFECTIONIST-practical, realistic & has a ammassing eye for detail to the point of being irritating to people who do not see the care, big heart dat he has! Many take offense to his way of pseech when he tries ot get his point of view across-loud n clear!(So did I).My Poppa always felt I was a sorta softy who anyone could impress n mould my views! But Poppa I want to anounce today ,here dat U hv been my role model!I dondt need a better example of a self made man !U r d role model whom I try to emulate!U , yr words, yr acts & yr perfectionism is what I have at the back of my mind-every waking moment!

I'm mighty proud of u Poppa(though I never said so to u or made u aware fo my repsects for u).I genuinely & profusely apologise for any of my acts, talks n deeds dat hurt you & took you far away from being my best frined ever!!Yes Poppa,I know I did hurt your image, your self belief & swabhimaan when I purposely chose to do something that u wld never ever want your sonny to do!I resent myself to this very day for all acts of immature, boyish growing up years dat am sure has hurt u immensely somewhere deep within..thou u never hv told dat in words.......yr silence speaks poppa....does speak indeed!

But then, I was your lil young son who always wanted to be a self made man who followed his dreams n achieve a BIG name for himself rather than me always referred as SHAMSUNDER'S son! I think U know it as well!Your words on 19Oct'97 when you came to the B'lore railway station to bid gudbye ot me as I was moving outta B'lore for the 1st time...still ring in my ears that 'every young bird has to one day fly by itself high in the sky' !!

Life comes around in circles....yes indeed! now a days when I tell somethings to Lil Jia,I suddenly realise dat those were d very same words dat u Used 2 say 2 me..n then back in those growing up years it dindt make sense n made me rebel...but now...I do understand Poppa...I do!! I would not b wat I'm 2day..if not for yr stern ways n talks.So...just hv to say thankyou Poppa....Now I can understand the ways n meaninsg of wat u said n the way u wanted to see your kids grow up. I'm doing the same..now following yr footsteps n passing on all dat u did teach me...........

SUDDENLY...time stands still....I'm lost Poppa....I'm!! I'm choking with a big lump in my throat as I write all these abt u ......& never had d time/spirits nor ability 2 convey all these 2 u.............So I leave it here......treasuring all dat u tried teaching n telling me as I'm sure u now know me the way u always have....silent & yet expressive through hearts!!.

My Akka - Suji (Dr.Sujatha Vivekananda )

"It was nice growing up with someone like you - someone to lean on, someone to count on... someone to tell on! " ~Author Unknown

What a rush!!! It all justseems like s'terday -my roller coaster ride thru my growing up years with my sister-Suji. It was awesome, awesome, awesome (that’s to emphasize on how gr8 it was :):)If given a chance 2 rewind time I wld want to go on a life ride with Suji for God knows how long, but somehow could never do it, finally got a chance today 2 recollect d vivid memories:) n’ loved every bit of it---thanks Suji 4 everything dat u did/taught/spoke knowingly or unknowingly :):) :):)]

Well now that I have started thanking her...which doesn’t happen very often:):) let me write a little about my sister AKKA :):) or Suji as I call her(& so does 1/2 d people who know her) ---she is 2 yrs elder to me and well, I have always adored her)As any self respecting elder sibling would do, Suji too made me believe that our parents picked me up from the dustbin and I actually believed her for 8-10 years, what can I say, I was a naive kid :):)She beat me up regularly...used me to help her implement all her evil experiments....made me her guinea pig for some of the experiments....she calls me "bondhu" cause she thinks I was a fat(which I was!!!:)...in other words she was your regular big bossing sister :):)Ok I do agree, I usually deserved the beatings cause I was a real snitch and as for the experiments, well I did tag along where ever she went (just like Mary’s little lamb:), so I guess I was asking for it most of the times:):)As we grew up guess the physical violence changed into a more verbal fight. We would argue about almost anything and everything and drive mom & especially dad up the wall :):)SHe has given me my first DENIM JEAN to be precise (she already knew my obsession with the word Denims by then:), my first big B'day card, my costliest wealth- till date -d unique ability 2 laugh at anything and this super big ambition in me 2 ahieve something 2 outbeta her....(ya ya she was seemingly beter than me in almost everything dat v did...playnig wit d guys next door, dance, sports, quizzes, seminars, debates ,fashion shows & u name it!) Well something I have to write about someday soon:) dat actuaaly I was much more street smart than d outgoing n ultra freindly gal dat she was n always played on d fact dat I was d chotu at home n cld easily garner d affection of our parenst or elders around . It’s been almost a decade since we have had a serious fight; guess we have grown up (though I think this is highly impossible :):)I don’t want to give her fodder to pull my leg but I have to say this...Suji, I know I can be a pain in the butt at times and know you hate me for all the times I snitched on you:) but then if I don’t do all this who will right???:):)Anyways, just wanted you to know that I love you so much and you will always be my hero:):):):)PS: Suji, this doesn’t mean that I will stop troubling you ok...that’s like my janam sidd adhikar right!!!:):)

Everyone ,yes everyone thoght she was the most outgoing & social between the two of us as she always had people eatnig out of her hands n seemingly had a big circle of friends.I was considered the sober, quiet, introverted kinds n till date dat image has stuck when infact its exactly the opposite!! Suji made it obvious 2 everyone dat she was the LOUDSPEAKED of d house n sometimes many a guests who came home would not even relaise I was home..I was suppsoedly dat quiet n silent kinds...winkk .

She had d whole neighbourhood as pals n spent more housr outdoors dan indoors..playingh with her huge gang .I was always d ones who made few but real lastnig friendships with select few whom I cld open up n be myself! I was ridiculed ,joked n laughed at by these seniors as a silent quiet boy who was suppsoedly gud at nothing. But fact was I was better than all of them in chess, cricket, badminton & any sport involving balls .Slowly dat stigma got erased as they started loosing to me & yet their mega egos could never be inflated!! dats childhood!!

Only time stands witness 2 all d naughty, freaky, circuses dat I had thru my growing up years!! (Yes, all at their expense & till date they do not know..or ever relaised dat I was d one laughing all my way thru,..hehehhee...)err dat sounds mean eh?

Well..shld mention here dat GANESH CHATHURTHI was a big event for the gang.V used 2 go around d houses in our locality & seek blessings.Dats wat it was suppsoed 2 b!How cld I not recolelct a hosue where their doggy came running ebhind us..n all d seniors left d scene ina whiffy with just me & d barking ,chasing doggy 2 do all d hug puf n well....reality dawned on me..dat I was all alone..n these super studs had disappaeared leavg me alone......Till date I can feel dat open mouthed bark of d dog n sense its closeness 2 my bums..as I managed 2 jump d wall n run home 4 safety!!!!

Well...another gr8 incident..n quite popular with d crowd was a day when a mad woman came shouting on d roads, chasing away kids & throwing stones ,etc . Now how cuodl our gang be not adventurous. So off we all went & me feeling secure in d company of my bold ,daring sister 2 c wat dsi mad woman was all abt!! LO!!!I can still feel dat miss of a heart beat when I suddenly realised dat when we were face to face with dat mad lady with huge bricks in her hand dat my super confident big sister was missing n so were d others....!& & & till date i can feel dat heart throbbing n d way I ran 2 save my life...............

Ultimate was infatc another incident.D' entire neighbourhood kids were playing on our terrace.Ther was this big chimney of ours & aroudn whihc was supposedly the kitchen of all d kids.Strangely, luking bakc wunder y i was left alone near dat chimney..whilst all the gals/guys were prancing around n acting as if they had never been so free & playful!! Suddenly there was dis big sis of mine who came up with a brillaint idea of the great churing episode fm d Vedas. So all d gals were decided to be Gods/Goddesses(hahaha n strangely some of their names were infact Godly..hehehe..Sridevi..JayaLakshi,etc etc) & all d Demons were d boys! The guys managed to get a big rope, d gals tied to the chimney & lo d churning began!!! I was suppsoed 2 b d tortoise sitting at the foot of the chimney!! Sooon..there was a BIIGGG BANG & I cld see stars in absolute darkness around me!! Ya-ya d chimney had broken n fallen on my head!! I hv never been d same ever again!! heheheh & & y Did I enjoi d shouting, beating d entire gang got...n d pampering I got fm my mom n all d Aunties around..heheheheh

Well...there ofcourse was another incidents dat almost had my right eye damaged! My big sis had dsi unique skill of writting everything she studied on our wall & I was a master of erasing all dat she wrote(yes yes..I made sure she wasnt around when I used to erase those stuffs). But one ill fortunate day,I was caught red handed by my big bully sis & lo,began a chase!A cahse dat ended wit me collinding to the corner of our study table that almost pireced hrough my right eye!My eyes were swollen big time!!I could not see anything & after a awhile I could see only blurred images!! Thankfully within few hours d 'swelling subsided n I cld see properly aagin!!& all along I could c d caring expressions of my sis change from euphoria dat her ENEMY(ya dats how we felt abt each other) was hurt n in pain, crying to..worry as to what had happened to her lil bro & finally ecstacy when I was fine!! I stiil can see those expressiosn vividly in front of my eyes............

Another milestone in our growing up years was when I was in my 6th Std.My Big Sis had just changed her school n was a big superstar in dat school-winning all praises of students/teachers beineg a all rounder! She was like family to all teachers too. One day outta blue I had developed sever stomachahe..with puking n high fever & shivers! Dad tuk me to a doc & soon I was hospitallised. Before I could know anything I was told I would have to be operated for APPENDICITIES!Next early morning I was operated & dat evening when I regained consciousness,I saw my big strong sister holding my hands by my bedside & weeping away to glory as if I had passed away! She was inconsolable! With her was her entire troupe of school pals , classmates n all teachers around my bed! All d teachers were tryng to pacify Suji who wouldnt stop howling! It tuk the stern nurse aroudn to ensure she stopped howling & cryed with open mouth yet no noise n tears flooding down her face!! Dat memory stands !!I relaised how much she cared for me & learnt from all her classmates n teachers ,how much she was praying for me to get well! That was it!The turning point of my aprehension of my sister as my enemy!!

Gradualy we became calmer & more friendly towards eachother!Just when I was about to open up to her like a close buddy, she got her Medical seat & went off to Mangalore for her MBBS studies. There on it was only letters, calls & happy few moments whenever she used ot come home during her breaks amidst semisters!I was in my 10th then & slowly started growing up to my own world!!

Now luking back, everything seems so much fun n enjoyable .Wish those times cum back...as d fights we used 2 have even for small thinsg as who wld have a bath 1st, who got a bigger banana to eat, who would roll the bed or even who would take our lil doggy Jimmy for a walk!!

"To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family grief’s and joys. We live outside the touch of time." ~Clara Ortega

InSight....

Y dis blog & whos me?

This blog is the result of an overactive imagination of a sharp yet silent man!!!!

I have always felt that I think/feel a lot more than what people understand of me! Hence this humble outpouring of thoughts/feelings to let the wolrd know that the silence around me has a lot more depth than what they comprehend! Call it a genuine wanting to be heard & understood right!!

This blog is supposedly a extension of my real self! No diplomacy and no two faces! What I'm is what is reflected in this blog! One needs to feel the words rather than a mere reading of the lines!Only then would they be able to understand the real ,true me!!

Urbane, Razor Sharp mind yet soft in words & acts , Silent yet Resilent but charming, Easygoing and sociable , Whacky sense of humour who can yet foresee n anticipate wat others think/tok n do(major attribute dat!) , Maleable & accommodative ,Self-indulgent & yet caring 2wards d select few small group of people who I allow 2 b near/dear 1's -------thats me:)

Now,dis blog is a attempt to help me reach out to all the people & state emphatically what I feel/perceive of them & their meaning to m life! I do not claim lofty ideologies, but just a simple, pure, true atempt to showcase my real inner feelings & QUEST to be heard & understood by them !!

Read on.....Feel it...Listen to my heart's out pouring & soon enuf u might actually end up KNOWING d real me!!

Request: Please try 2 feel the contents of dis blog! Yes, FEEL is d catch word. Dis blog has been shared as part of the personal feelings & thoughts behind the people ,their words, their acts & generally the times of my life.

My aim is to release a autobiography before my 40th Birthday. How many & why would anyone read it , is irrelevant. Hence this blog is a exercise as a small prelude to the things to come!!
